Sometimes being right is not the answer I want. I have said over and over that the radiation burned my colon. Tuesday I was proved correct. I was treated to the “Double Your Pleasure, Double Your Fun” double whammy of an endoscopy and a colonoscopy back to back. The upperside report was good. Acid Reflux has not caused any serious damage. The three ulcers in my tummy (caused by all the medicine I take) have not gotten worse. The otherside was not so good. My once bright pink colon has some awful looking purple and brown areas. I have a serious problem with Hemorrhoids (None before cancer treatments). The struggle with my poor injured colon shows its effects.
Here is the good part. My gut doctor and his staff were worried about my age and condition. They made a decision to have these tests done at the hospital rather than their clinic. I get a doc I don’t know. When I ask about the discolored areas of my gut, I get nothing but bullshit. ” Sorry, I am not your doctor so I can’t comment. You will have to make an appointment with DR. K.. You do have a follow up appointment don’t you?”
Actually no. He was supposed to do these procedures and we would have gone from here.
The office can get me in to see DR K in about 6 weeks. Thanks for nothing. Marlene at my primary care doctor’s office will squeeze me in tuesday morning. I will make sure she getsa bottle of wine for her efforts.
Later tuesday I am going to see about going to a naturopathic doctor. Hopefully, I will get some ideas on healing my body without hurting it so much.
