I Can See For Miles and Miles and Miles.

I am making another comeback. The eye problems almost killed me. I had a 5 1/2 hour surgery that took 7 1/2 hours to come back from way too much anesthetic. I thought I was Keith Richards. A second surgery that removed the lense from my eye. Then! I found the secret weapon I have always looked for.

Asthaxanthin is the food we have been looking for forever. The key ingredient in algae. The thing that makes flamingoes pink. A beta carotine family substance. It has very small molecules that can enter the small cappillaries of the eye. It is a huge anti occident. I started taking it several months ago. Hoping this “Hippie Medicine” might help the healing of my eye. DR. Fu at first said that I probably would only be able to see the big E on the eye chart. My eye was that bad. I am able to see some out of my bad eye. Granted it has images that look like a wet piece of tissue is on your face.
I am going off on a tangent. I am going to start a string of stories and memoirs about a child of the 60’s.

KLA-HOW-YAH!

I grew up with a family that was truly Northwest. We were Hunter/Gathers. From clam digging and crabbing at Grayland, Huckleberry picking at Mount Adams, Salmon fishing and a Bear Hunt on the Straits of Juan De Fuca, Camping at my Aunt and Uncles Cabin at Monte Cristo, Oysters at The Doseiwallups on the Canal to Trout Fishing in British Columbia; I enjoyed it all growing up. We ate really good with the things we got. I learned well at a young age to enjoy life. Preparing a fine meal and pairing the wine to go with it can be intimidating. It doesn't have to be. It is and should be fun. So come along listen to my stories, try out my original recipes, and enjoy the wines I suggest. You might Like it!
